Abstract Forms is another experiment in Photoshop. This series of work is an artistic journey that uses a sense of play to create patterns and abstract forms using images of glass photography. Working with the glass images in Photoshop, I used a range of different image layers, adjustment layers, blend modes, pre-sets and filters to create unusual forms that emerged from an unlikely and otherwise plain source. These creations are an investigation into the possibilities of using Photoshop on glass photography in a non-traditional approach to generate unique shapes that are abstract, colourful, repetitive, or are pattern based.
