Lady in the Dark: A Low Key Portrait Session

Lady in the Dark is a low key image that was intended to have a mysterious theme or to show the side of someone that is usually kept in the dark, hidden away from the world. In this case, it reveals the passion that my model had for the arts and theatre as a young woman. It’s a world that she is no longer involved in. People who know her today would never have guessed that she used to be so involved in theatre, drama, dance, and music. Her life today has taken her into a completely different direction including marriage, motherhood and an interest in law. She is happy and proud of the life that she lives, but her love of the arts will always be a part of her past.
